What exactly is Metaverse?
Introduction
The social world as we know it today is constantly evolving. For example in the aspect of finance, we’ve seen a huge leap from the use of fiat currencies to the adoption of crypto currencies. Likewise in the aspect of communication, we’ve seen how the internet made life a lot easier compared to what it was before the internet.
Metaverse, is a kind of the internet of life instead of the internet of things.
What exactly is a metaverse?

With all the news surrounding Facebook and its new name, you might have heard of the word Metaverse and probably wondering what it means. Before we look into the Metaverse in great detail, you first need to understand that metaverse is a compound word comprised of two words, Meta and Verse. Meta which means after or beyond. Verse, in the sense of universe which means everything.
Metaverse is a generalized concept; there isn’t a one-size-fits-all definition to what a metaverse means. Simply put, a Metaverse is a world or space in digital form with people, places and things that are digitally represented by objects.
Why Metaverse?

Metaverse can currently be seen in several aspects of our lives like when you’re in a Zoom meeting. You are “there” in the room, but not in physical reality. In other words, Metaverse is a broader context for “bringing people together”.
Meetings is just one of the many things metaverse can be used for among others like NFTs, education, entertainment, gaming, marketing can all be redesigned for the Metaverse.
